Semi Permanent Make Up

Whatever your style, we'll find the perfect eyebrow for you!

Semi-Permanent Make-Up

Semi-permanent make-up is a procedure where pigments are planted just under the surface of your skin to create an eyeliner, eyebrow shape or even a lip liner. This is using a tattoo machine specifically designed for semi-permanent make-up.

When the colour is implanted, it will sit slightly deeper, giving a thicker more prominent look.

These procedures are becoming more popular with women with medical conditions that result in hair loss or ladies who like to have a long-lasting and smudge-free effect.

Semi-permanent make-up generally lasts for 18-24 months depending on age and skin type.

This originated in East Asia, taken from the bamboo tattoo method. It is the oldest technique of implanting pigment into skin. Microblading is also known as Eyebrow Embroidery.

Using a hand held pen with a disposable blade, fine lines are etched into the skin, following the natural shape of your eyebrow. This technique deposits the pigment closer to the surface, leaving the lines crisper yet may not last as long as the machine method.

A hand held tool is used to produce a natural hair stroke.

Consultation Procedure

Before your treatment can commence, we'll have a thorough consultation together, in which your medical history is taken to confirm suitability for your treatment and your chance for any questions that you may have to be answered. Before your treatment begins you must also provide written consent and a small test patch will be carried out, for your safety.
For your safety all treatments require a patch test and you'll generally require two procedures per treatment, in order for it to be effective lasting between 12-24 months.
