Kay is the owner and founder of Positive Skin and is the Skin specialist you need in your life! Having been in the personal care industry for over 20 years, starting as a beauty therapist by gaining her first qualification, the International Beauty Therapist Diploma. Kay quickly realized she had a passion within the industry for hair removal, knowing full well how excessive hair can cause self-consciousness and low self-esteem in an individual and was determined to help others with this concern. It was within the diploma Kay became an Electrologist. Over the years studied this skill and through a practical and written examination gained membership in the British Institute and Association of Electrolysis (BIAE).
Your Skin Expert
Kay began treating skin blemishes with Electrolysis over 10 years ago and discovered that skin concerns can also affect her client’s confidence and decided to study skin on a deeper level. Learning more about the skin and how it works has now been an addiction to Kay and she loves to keep up to date with the latest treatments and technologies. You’ll always find Kay is studying something new. Ensuring that she offers only the best services suited to her client’s needs. Kay is passionate about getting the best results for her client’s goals. A perpetual learner Kay is a Level 4 trained Aesthetic practitioner, although she prefers to call herself a skin geek or skin therapist. She has won many awards including National Skin Therapist of the Year 2021 in the British Hair and Beauty Awards
